We are really happy to annouce our "Blog of the week"; its RedChillies

Red Chillies is an online dashboard for sharing simple, healthy, tried and tested vegetarian recipes. The blog features North Indian, South Indian, Konkani and International recipes. It is a very clean, well organized blog containing recipes with clear instructions.

This blog is maintained by Supriya, who comes from Bangalore and is currently located in Texas, United States. It was about 3.5 years ago that Supriya found this medium of blogging. After giving it a lot of thought she decided start blogging herself and use this platform as a way of recording of her own recipes and the recipes that she has learnt from her family (more like an online cookbook). Through her blog she is able to record her success, mis-trials, failures etc and refer to them whenever she wants to.

Even though she likes Italian and Mexican cuisine, her all time favorite is Indian Cuisine.

Some of her favorite recipes are:

• Moong Curry and Cucumber Idli (Mooga Ghashi & Tausha Idli )
• Poori and Vegetable Saagu (Karnataka Style)
• Eggless Mango Cake
• Methi (Fenugreek) Rice
• Raw Mango Daal

Currently blogging is her main hobby, her passion and she is enjoying it very much. Through this medium, she is glad that she has been able to share recipes with so many people around the world.

She is also a mom to a mischievous 4 year old boy and works full time for a software company. Her husband has been instrumental in her blogging and encourages her to try out new things.
 
Supriya is really flattered by the comments from her readers when they tell her that they really liked some recipes from her blog, tried them and enjoyed them. That makes her day and her blogging worthwhile.

We asked her what her message to her blog readers would be. Here is what she said: "I would like to express my heart felt thanks to the readers, first for visiting my blog, commenting, liking the recipes and trying them out."

Supriya represents the modern Indian woman who is not only a good cook, but also a good mother, works full time and also finds time to manage and nurture her hobbies.
